The Hamden Ski Club was formed in 1972 by the existing membership of the Singles Ski Club of New Haven.
The Hamden Ski Club, and as the former Singles Ski Club of New Haven, has been a member of the Connecticut Ski Council for over 40 years.
The objectives of the club are to promote interest in recreational and competitive skiing and snowboarding, as well as good fellowship among club members.
The club is a family and singles oriented all seasons sport club. In addition to downhill skiing and snowboarding, winter activities include alpine racing, cross country skiing & snow shoeing. We have a large spring skiing following and will often ski right up to June (If the ski area's are open).
Activities during the non-winter months include water skiing, biking, tennis, canoeing, golfing and camping.
Our meeting location is Playwright Pub & Restaurant, 1232 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT (corner of Whitney & Putnam). Meetings are held in the banquet room on the first Tuesday of the month, September thru May and start at 7:30PM.
